Most Runs in ODI World Cup

In September 2021, it was confirmed that the ODI World Cup 2023 would take place in India. The tournament will feature a round-robin format in the group stage, consisting of two groups. The top-performing teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. While the scheduling and group distribution have yet to be finalized, cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the announcement from the ICC, which is expected to be made shortly.

The upcoming ODI World Cup in 2023 will mark the 13th edition of this prestigious tournament. Throughout its history, the ODI World Cup has attracted legendary players, adding to its significance in international cricket.

There are two primary reasons why the ODI World Cup holds immense importance in the cricketing world. Firstly, it takes place every four years, allowing teams ample time to enhance their game and strive for improvement. Secondly, the ODI format itself serves as a true test for teams to come together and play as a unified group with a shared objective. Unlike other formats, ODI cricket demands teams to synergize their talents and abilities, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration. The World Cup showcases the collective strength and determination of teams striving for success.
