ODI cricket is played by various cricketing nations around the world. 105 countries play cricket and are members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Out of 105, only 12 are Full Members.

These 12 teams are divided into two groups – Full Members and Associates. The Full Members are the 10 teams that are recognized as the leading cricketing nations in the world. They are Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe. These teams have the right to play Test cricket as well.

The Associates are the two teams that are not Full Members but have earned the ODI status. They are Scotland and Nepal. These teams have to go through the qualifying process to make it to the ODI status, and they don’t have the right to play Test cricket.
